Lebensmüde (tired of life) is the first album on Nowhere Now Records by Canadian Artist, Gnostic Gorilla and features some of the artist's best known songs from prior self-released works.
Each track has been re-mastered and reworked by Nowhere Now's resident producer, in collaboration with Gnostic Gorilla. Leading to what may be considered the definitive versions of these songs.
Indeed the track, Veil, has had it's song structure revised and has a more brutal dynamic that is reminiscent of the early works of Strapping Young Lad. Other highlights include the strangely charming Industrial Funk vibe of Purple Flag and the album opener, Chaos Frankenstein, with its, harsh as demolition works, Electro Punk posturing.
Eccentric in style and abrasive in delivery, Lebensmüde, feels like the best example yet of the Industrial Darkwave fever dream that Gnostic Gorilla is spreading as gospel. Join the congregation.
